Shari Cooper, Parent/Facilitator Liaison (Back-up for Mr. Tierney)

I wanted to introduce myself to you.  I am Mrs. Shari Cooper and I am the Teacher-Parent Liaison.

I am here to assist you with school-home communications and any issues that you may be having in the school.  I am here to act as a partner with the parents and the teachers/administrators.

I am also compiling a list of parents that would like to volunteer their time to help our school be the best it can be!  We would love to have volunteers to help in the lunchroom, assisting teachers, helping with evening parent events, and fundraising.  Please email me your name and phone number if you are interested in volunteering.

All parents should like the Palm Beach Maritime Academy Facebook page.  The Facebook page is continuously updated with important information about the school.  In addition, there are often pictures and videos of exciting events that your child may be participating in.

I am looking forward to working with all of you!

Parents that wish to speak at a board meeting need to submit a request at either Lantana 1 or 2 front office 2 hours prior to the meeting.

Every charter school’s governing board must appoint a representative to facilitate parental involvement, provide access to information, assist parents and others with questions and concerns, and resolve disputes. At our last Board Meeting the Board voted Pat Tierney as the Parent/Facilitator Liason for Palm Bach Maritime Academy. We look forward to working with Mr. Tierney.
